GENERAL GUIDELINES
The following are the general guidelines for submitting aproject:
- Only Online Application will be accepted for DocedgeKolkata 2020.
- All fields in the form are mandatory.
- For fields marked with a prescribed word limit, exceeding the limit would not allow submission of the form.
- You will need to upload a photo (applicant’s) of the director/producer and one Sill from the current project. (JPEG, 300 dpi)
- A note about the sample audiovisual clip:
The audiovisual clip is mandatory for selection as it is the key element to assess the project. It can be a trailer, a part of a scene or in rare cases where an audiovisual clip sample is not available for the project applied for, a clip from the director’s previous work must be provided as a visual reference.
However, it is strongly recommended to apply with an audiovisual trailer from the current project. The clip must not exceed 3 mins. - First upload the clip on Vimeo / YouTube and furnish the link along with the password, in the respective section of the Application Form. Please ensure that your link is password protected and the same remains active till the end of Docedgekolkata 2020.
- Maximum of two persons can apply per project. However, each individual has to submit a separate Application Form along with application fee.
- Incomplete Applications or Forms NOT submitted within the due date will be automatically ineligible for entry.

GUIDELINE FOR PAYMENT OF FEES:
Indian Applicants:
- Applicants from India need to send the due Application Fees through Bank Transferonly.
- The Bank Transfer details are to be furnished in the Payment section of the application form, failing which one will not be able to SUBMIT the form.
- Selected Participant/Observer should confirm his/her participation in the workshop by 07 January 2020. The Participation Fees are to be paid through Bank Transfer by 07 January 2020.
For International Applicants:
- International Applicants including Observers need not pay any fees at the time of online submission.
- The requisite fees are to be paid by the selected participants/observers at the time of Workshop Registration on 02 March 2020.
- Selected Participant/Observer should confirm his/her participation in DocedgeKolkata 2020 by 15 January 2020.

About Project Selection
The selection committee will take into consideration the followingelements:
- The artistic promise of the project
- The audiovisual clip
- Bio-profile of the Director/Producer
- For applicants in the Observers category- Bio-profile
- Projects that do not include all required information will be disqualified
- A maximum of 18 – 20 projects will be short listed from the submissions. Another 6 projects will be selected from the various pitching forums through a separate evaluation process.
- Decision of the selection committee would be final and binding in nature. No enquiries will be entertained once the selection is announced.
- Selected projects will be announced on the website on 30 December 2019.
