ELIGIBILITY
This fellowship is
- Open to early-career and emerging documentary filmmakers directing their first feature-length documentary
- The proposed documentary must be of feature-length.
- Must have directed at least one short documentary.
- Applicants must be working on original, socially engaging, and human-interest documentary concepts with a strong creative vision
- Must have directed at least one short
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Must be available for mandatory participation in both virtual sessions
- Students are not eligible to apply
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
A maximum of 12 selected participants will be invited to attend as fellows.
SELECTION PROCESS
Projects will be selected by an independent jury, andevaluation will focus on:
- The filmmaker’s creative and artistic vision
- Relevance of the subject
- Uniqueness of viewpoint and innovative treatment
All selection decisions are final; no further correspondence will be entertained with regard to the evaluation process after the final selection is announced.
Selected Projects will be published on the website on 1st week of September, 2025
