About DRI
Building a stronger documentary ecosystem
Documentary Resource Initiative (DRI) nurtures the national independent documentary ecosystem by building a vibrant community of filmmakers, industry professionals, and audiences. Based in Kolkata, DRI creates spaces where homegrown stories are developed, artistic collaborations emerge, and professional skills grow through incubation, training, and industry activities.
Through its programmes and initiatives, DRI supports documentary storytellers at different stages of their creative journey while encouraging dialogue around the art and practice of documentary filmmaking.
