Shiladitya Bora is the CEO of Drishyam Films, a global motion picture studio headquartered in Mumbai, India, that has produced critically acclaimed films such as Masaan, Dhanak and Umrika.

A director, producer and distributor, Shiladitya is known for establishing PVR’s Director’s Rare, India’s leading indie release banner. He also independently distributed Court, winner of multiple international awards and India's official submission for the 88th Annual Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category.

An alumni of the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, Shiladitya was also selected for the prestigious Berlinale Talents programme at the Berlin International Film Festival 2015.

Drishyam Films - A company born out of love for cinema, we look forward to build a platform for voices of Indian independent cinema and create global content with rich Indian flavours. Our journey started with the film Ankhon Dekhi directed by Rajat Kapoor. The film garnered critical acclaim and went on to win several awards. The success of Ankhon Dekhi was followed by Umrika and Dhanak directed by Nagesh Kukunoor that won the Grand Jury prizeGeneration Kplus at Berlinale 2015. Our next film, Masaan directed by Neeraj Ghaywan premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at The Cannes Film Festival 2015 and won the Un Certain Regard Promising Future Prize and the FIPRESCI Award. Our most recent production Waiting directed by Anu Menon is slated for its Indian release on April 29, 2016.
