Since 1986 working for NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) documentaries and news operations, including “Urgent Report After Death of Rajiv Gandhi” (1991) and the live message show “Symphony for the earth – Satellite Live with Seiji Ozawa and world musicians” (1995), “European Picnic Plan breaking against Iron Curtain" (1993) won awards of HBF. Between 1997 and 1999 working as a NHK correspondent to Hong Kong Office then since 1999 working as documentary producer of NHK High Definition channel. As International co-production “Why Democracy” (2007) “New Chinese” (2007 & 09) and “Indian Short film series” (2007&08) “Queen and I” (2008) He commissioned many productions, from which various films got screened at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, like “Chronicle of Amnesiac” (2007) by Anirban Datta and “Char… The No-Man’s Island” (2012). “Spiral stairs” by Ji Tang and “Japan; Love & Hate” by Sean McAlister (2009) won awards at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival.
