Sinae Ha

Sinae Ha is a producer and director of Here Comes Uncle Joe, a feature debut documentary. With B.A specialized in Communication and journalism, she worked on Television production House as a director for 3 years. In the planning team, she launched a weekly documentary program, 'Top Secret(KBS1)' and developed documentary series about Buddhism and Paradise. In 2009, she studied the design of Cross-Media Production in Graduate School of Culture Technology at KAIST and made a short film, FACELESS, produced by NYFA. With Crossing Borders in 2010, she started making the first international documentary with Wooyoung Choi, 'Here Comes Uncle Joe', co-produced by ITVS(USA), NHK(Japan), and SBS(Korea). This documentary got awarded as the Best Documentary Feature and Best Director of Non-fiction at TELAS(Sau Paulo), the Best Long Documentary at Gold Panda Documentary Festival(China), and the Best Long Documentary at World Mountain Documentary Festival(China). Now, she is producing diverse international documentaries, 'REACH FOR THE SKY', 'ASHES TO ASHES', and 'MR.ELECTION' and joins the documentary workshops and first filmmakers' program as a mentor.
