Sunah Kim is a Korean-American filmmaker, currently working in South Korea. She started her film career as a narrative film producer in New York City. Since moving back to Korea in 2013, she has produced several highly acclaimed documentary features such as Singing with Angry Bird, The Birth of Resonance, Coming to you Minu, as well as an IDA-award winning Netflix Original DocuSeries My Love: Six Stories of True Love. Since 2022, she has been working with DMZ Docs as the Head of Industry. She also serves as a co-director of Korean Documentary Network (KDN).

DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (DMZ Docs) is a Korean film festival specialized in Documentaries. Since 2009, DMZ Docs has been introducing excellent documentary films to Korea and has established itself as one of the leading documentary film festivals in the world.
DMZ Docs has brought together many Asian talents and international industry professionals for business cooperation and emotional connection. In addition, through its Industry program, DMZ Docs has been discovering new Asian projects and providing them with fund and awards which have been a lifeline for many Asian filmmakers.
DMZ Docs strives to expand the public and social functions of the documentary genre and continue our support to struggling documentary filmmakers around the world.
