Heejung Oh worked for a global consulting firm, then she started her career in the film industry as a sales agent for award-winning Asian documentaries. She founded Seesaw Pictures in 2017 and has produced creative documentaries that have strong records both in theatrical release and international festivals. She is working with young and seasoned filmmakers with artistic visions and powerful questions. She is an alumni of Eurodoc and Rotterdam Lab, and has been invited as a mentor and an assessment committee for DOK Leipzig, Sheffield Doc/Fest, and many more. She believes that her mission as a producer is to create a stimulating and sustainable environment for everyone participating in her films.

Seesaw Pictures is a production company based in Seoul, Korea that has expertise in international co-production and distribution in Asia. It has produced award-winning features and shorts positioned between film and art. The latest titles include, ‘Pearl of the Desert’, which premiered at IDFA 2019 and won awards at prestigious festivals, and ‘Porosity Valley 2: Trickster’s Plot’, which was exhibited for Korea Artist Prize and selected for Berlinale 2020.
