KEN-ICHI IMAMURA, Executive Producer, NHK Enterprises Inc, Japan

Imamura entered NHK in 1983. He was the commissioning editor of the slot “World Documentary” from 2009 until 2012. Since 2012 he has been working with NHK Enterprises and is in charge of co-production, pre-buy and commission of TV programs mainly documentaries.

He started Tokyo Docs in 2011 as one of the founders. Tokyo docs is the sole international documentary event in Japan holding the pitching session.
