Irena Taskovski is the CEO and founder of Taskovski Films a world sales and production company with head office in London and offices in Germany and Bosnia. Irena, originally from Bosnia, has studied in Prague, graduating from the Film Academy (FAMU). She has also studied at the Sam Spiegel Film and TV School in Jerusalem and obtained a Masters degree from the National Film & Television School in London, UK.
Since 2013 Irena has been working as external consultant/expert on marketing, sales, financing and festivals for many film institutions like HBO Europe, Asian Cinema Fund, Taiwan Film Institute, Dok.incubator CZ, Sources Germany, and Head Tutor of the Emerging Producers of Ji.hlava IDFF Czech Republic. Irena is a movement practice facilitator at 5Rhythms as well and a conscious leadership coach for personal and professional growth apart from being a passionate environment, peace and human unity activist. She is also the founder of C–FAR (Conscious Film & Arts Residencies and Retreats).
