RIKA SHIMBA, Producer, NHK, Japan

Rika Shimba joined NHK as director in 2004. She covered Middle Eastern affairs as producer for NHK World Japan from 2014 to 2015. Rika is currently working for NHK World Documentary and is developing more than 100 titles every year. She is also managing NHK’s factual acquisition portfolio outside of ‘World Documentary’.
