DEVIKA A. RAO - Executive Producer, National Geographic Asia, Singapore

Devika started her career in the world of Indian TV, where she had the chance to get her hands dirty with a wide range of genres – working with BBC World, MTV, Star World and National Geographic Channel. Devika moved to Singapore in 2005 and after a stint with ESPN Star Sports’ ‘Original Content’ team, she worked with a long list of international broadcasters creating reality content for STAR World, AXN and NBC. She then dove head first back into her love – factual content. A three year stint at a regional production house, IFA, followed helming projects for Discovery, National Geographic, CNA, as well as BBC Worldwide. She has now settled into her latest avatar, as Executive Producer at National Geographic, commissioning and supervising multiplatform factual content across SEA. FOX Networks Group (FNG) is 21st Century FOX’s international multi-media business. The group develops, produces and distributes 300+ wholly-and majority-owned entertainment, sports, factual and movie channels in 45 languages across Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. FNG’s core channel brands include FOX, FOX Sports, FOX Life, FOX+ and National Geographic Channel. FNG also owns and operates two production studios and produces thousands of local programming hours for its wholly owned channels and third parties.
