Karolina Lidin is a documentary consultant primarily engaged at Nordisk Film & TV Fond as Documentary Advisor and at Sheffield Doc/Fest as MeetMarket Executive Producer. In addition, Karolina has been continuously involved in mentoring/training schemes, developing projects with international potential, lately with the DocsPort Incheon, Crossing Dreams, DocCampus Masterschool, the MENA Programme for the Middle East & North Africa and the FINAS Workshop for Malaysian filmmakers in collaboration with Documentary Campus and European Documentary Network. Karolina has experience as producer, film commissioner, distributor and as CEO of Nordisk Panorama and Nordisk Forum. Karolina’s activities also include moderating the IDFA FORUM and numerous other documentary events in addition to festival jury duty, panel & selection committee participation and tutoring worldwide. The Sheffield Doc/Fest MeetMarket is one of the world’s largest documentary and factual markets and the flagship pitching opportunity at Doc/Fest to meet with over 300 international funders, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents and exhibitors. Doc/Fest offers a unique way to pitch your projects through individual match made meetings between pitchers and the Decision Makers, so they can get straight into creative and financial discussions.
