Bauddhayan Mukherji | Founder & Director | Little Lamb Films | India Winner of Cannes Lion and National Award and Listed by Impact Magazine as one of ten pathbreakers in Indian advertising films, Bauddhayan Mukherji affectionately known as Buddy, is one of India’s leading independent filmmakers and producers.


Bauddhayan runs Little Lamb Films in Mumbai and has directed and produced more than 750 television commercials and PSAs.

His directorial feature films Teenkahon and The Violin Player have travelled all over the globe garnering a lot of recognition and critical acclaim. His next directorial ventures include The Bookkeeper's Wife (Torino Film Lab Next; CPM, Film Bazaar) and Marichjhapi (APM, Busan; Cinefondation L’Atelier, Cannes Film Festival).

Bauddhayan has also produced two of India’s most critically acclaimed indies – Manikbabur Megh (Tallinn, Edinburgh, Santa Barbara) and Whispers of Fire & Water (Locarno, Sao Paulo, RIDM).

Little Lamb Films
Little Lamb Films was founded by the husband-wife duo of Bauddhayan and Monalisa Mukherji in 2007. Over the last 17 years, it has produced features, documentaries, shorts & over 750 TVCs and PSAs.

In 2013, Little Lamb Films ventured into feature films and has produced a slate of critically acclaimed indies namely Teenkahon, The Violin Player,Manikbabur Megh and Whispers of Fire & Water.
