In-Docs, Docs by the Sea
In-Docs is a non-profit organization that believes in the power of documentary films to spark conversation, touch people's hearts, open minds, and enable change. Through capacity development programs, pitching forums, and digital platforms, In-Docs seeks to strengthen the documentary ecosystem in Southeast Asia and beyond to produce quality films for the public.
Initiated in 2017, organised by Kemenparekraf (the Ministry of Tourism and Economy Creative of the Republic of Indonesia, formerly BEKRAF) in partnership with In-Docs, Docs by the Sea is an international documentary lab and forum for creative documentary projects from Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and other Asian regions. Through Docs by the Sea, the selected documentary projects obtain mentorship and pitching opportunities that allow them to connect with the international market.
