Sai Abishek has over 16 years of experience in the media industry. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Factual & Lifestyle Cluster, South Asia, at Warner Bros. Discovery, where he oversees original content commissioning and development, programming strategy & acquisitions, and profitability across a broad portfolio of global brands and networks in entertainment, and infotainment genres.
He has commissioned several popular and awarded shows across genres such as My Daughter Joined a Cult, Secrets of Sinauli, Legends of Ramayana, Into the Wildwith Bear Grylls, Money Mafia, Dangals of Crime to name a few.
Prior to joining Warner Bros. Discovery, Sai led content at Fox International Channels (FIC), where he drove programming at National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild. He has also been in the core team that launched HistoryTV18 in India. He has worked in various creative and production capacities at different networks such as CNBCTV18, Economic Times Now and NewsX producing news features docs and specials.
